dotReturn advises on the decisions that shape a data practice — and when it matters, builds it too.
Where AI creates real value in a data workflow — and where it doesn't. dotReturn designs and builds the integrations that actually deliver.
What to measure. Why it matters. How to architect GA4, GTM, and the broader analytics stack so the right insights surface at the right time.
Pipelines, warehouse structures, and reporting frameworks in BigQuery and Looker — designed to scale with the business, not against it.
Senior data and AI direction without the full-time hire. dotReturn has built and led teams at every scale — and knows where AI creates value because it built the data foundations first.

About
dotReturn is led by David Salinas. He joined Google in 2003 and helped build the analytics practice from the inside — creating the first GA Aptitude Test, training teams across offices, and working directly with Fortune 500s on implementation strategy.
He went on to direct web analytics at TBWA\Chiat\Day for Nike, American Airlines, and McDonald's. As VP of Business Analytics at LotLinx, he architected measurement infrastructure across 500+ clients and built the data foundation for their AI platform.
dotReturn takes on a small number of engagements per year — the kind where senior experience changes the outcome.
